I-290
  • Runs from Pennsylvania State Line near Kiantone to Interstate 90 near West Seneca.
  • Located in Cattaragus and Erie Counties.
  • Length is approximately 67 miles.
  • Portion between the State Line and Springville is in the process of being upgraded to a freeway. Construction began on the first portion in 2007.
  • There is a chance that this will be redesignated as Interstate 67 in the future, as PennDOT has requested the number for their portion of this corridor.
